Life Drawing Final

When coming into life drawing I was really intimidated since I have never before drawn from a live model. This has been a great experience overall and I find myself applying what I have learned from this class in most of my everyday art work. It has taught me to look beyond what you just see in front of you. Besides the learning how things work in the body it has also allowed for me to think outside of the box and that there are many other things that make up a whole. I have found that I have improved a great deal with perspective and really slowing down with my drawings and to layout first before I dive into one particular spot. I do wish, however, that we would have had way more time with the face and skull, seeing my self portrait I found that my perspective of my face and just the general appearance is way off. The maniken was difficult at first but towards the end I found myself enjoying just sitting there and really trying to figure it all out.
